From its formation back in 1981, Portable Conveyors Ltd has established itself as an industry leader, specialising in the hire, refurbishment and sales of conveyors, screens, quarry and waste plant and other ancillary equipment.

After an initial period of gradual, solid growth through the 1980s, the company then powered through the 90s and on into the new millennium as one of the most established and respected names in the Conveyor industry. Our newsletter 'Portable Conveyor News' took on a life of its own and with their different coloured issues, became a highly sought after read with those in the industry and at the many trade shows we used to visit. Unbelievably there are still people who passionately collect our humble newsletters!

With this unrivalled reputation for quality and outstanding customer service, Portable Conveyors continued on through the early 2000s and survived two recessions before fully embracing the environmental changes to the world, using its 'profit from waste' slogan which become synonymous with high quality refurbished recycling plant.

Now, nearly forty years later, Portable Conveyors has continued to thrive and prosper, increasing its range of equipment and services. With the original owner taking a step back from the business, a new dynamic management team was put in place and with recent additions to the administrative team and marketing, the company embraces a changing world by sticking to its very simple ethos to 'keep product moving', be this quarry stone, cardboard boxes or waste recycling.
